So, we sorta got a TON of snow. I lost track of how much after the blizzard dumped 23 inches in our yard. The girls have been having fun playing in it all...mostly. They do complain the whole time Im bundling them up, and arent the most gleeful when I boot them out of the house...but once they're out there, they seem to enjoy it. I have many fond memories of playing out in the white stuff with my siblings - and GOSH DARN it, they will too! SO, I showed them how its done, wisconsin-girl style! So, "we" (ahem), dug out a tunnel/snow cave in a big pile...I dont think they really understood the whole "fun factor", as I was huffing and puffing and slightly irratated at the lack of help...but the second I called it a "princess snow castle" and told them we could spray it pink, their eyes lit up. While I wouldn't necessarily say that they totally embraced my snow-tunneling heritage, hope is still alive for these Cali-girls.

Oh no...maybe they need the rest of your siblings to come over and show them how it's done!!! We should probably find a good hill with drifts to make a tunnel sliding hill too! :)
