We were out for a walk today - it topped 50 degrees - and both of the girls ditched their mittens early on in our travels. And one of Emma's favorite things to do while outside in the snow is to consume mass quantities of the stuff (you'd swear we didnt feed the poor child), and Eden, not wanting to be left out, if given the chance will stuff her face with the cold white snack du' jour as well. Their poor little fingers were icy cold, so being the resourceful Mom that I am, stuck it on a stick for them to enjoy! Nothing, apparently, beats snowball on a stick as an afternoon snack. So, there's my million dollar idea for the MN state fair next year...just you wait! It'll catch on. Maybe in a couple years you'll even see them at the OC or LA fair too! Ha!

LOL! Being a SoCal kid, I can see the novelty of snow better than you cold-weather veterans. It's cold, it melts, it's new -- what's not to like?!
Thanks for all the blog posts, it makes you guys seem not so far away. And it's amazing how fast the girls are growing up, so we get to share a little of that this way.
What a delightful story! Love the sharing of the picture and the event. Thanks so much, we miss you guys.
That is hilarious! Just make sure it isn't yellow snow! That could be a mistake!
