Momma's Got A Sweet Ride

Well, its official. I've completely sold out to Mom-in-the-'Burbs life...its the end of the world as we know it. My wonderful hubby bought me and the girls a new (to us) mini-van! Who knew that just a few years ago a girl living in NYC would end up in the middle of nowhere California, with two kids, and a mom-mobile. Its actually a very nice vehicle, and a much needed one; and I am actually, although its painful to admit, so excited about it. I took it out for its maiden voyage tonight, and broke it in (fittingly) on a little trip to the grocery store. NICE. However, I felt it necessary to crank up the base on the radio, just to remind myself Im still edgy and cool.

Yeah!!! Once you get over the fact that you are not driving a cool ride you will really love it. It is also so much safer for all you precious girls on those crazy CA roads. I couldn't be happier. Welcome to the real MOMMA world:)

Yeah! I am so jealous! I LOVED my mini van and can't wait for my next one..only 18 months to go! I wish we were there so we could pile all the girlie girls in the van and head out to the beach or Wild Animal Park. Miss ya Cheryl...Love ya lots..Mara :-)

ummmm....sorry sister, but "edgy and cool" and "minivan" do NOT fit in the same sentence!! Congrats either way, I guess. :)

Congratulations on your new car and the fact that you've advanced to the acceptance stage of being Burb Mom! Life will be a lot easier with your Toyota≥ Love, Barb

I disagree with jen's comment, my friends and I took the mini garage saling one morning. We cranked the bass and probably looked edgy and cool. Some lady even asked if we were skippin school (although I'm not sure if looking like we're still in highschool is a compliment) But I must say, the sliding doors and huge backseat were great for quick stops and holding our crap!
