Snowball on a Stick

We were out for a walk today - it topped 50 degrees - and both of the girls ditched their mittens early on in our travels. And one of Emma's favorite things to do while outside in the snow is to consume mass quantities of the stuff (you'd swear we didnt feed the poor child), and Eden, not wanting to be left out, if given the chance will stuff her face with the cold white snack du' jour as well. Their poor little fingers were icy cold, so being the resourceful Mom that I am, stuck it on a stick for them to enjoy! Nothing, apparently, beats snowball on a stick as an afternoon snack. So, there's my million dollar idea for the MN state fair next year...just you wait! It'll catch on. Maybe in a couple years you'll even see them at the OC or LA fair too! Ha!

Eden Is Walking!!!

Our little peanut is officially walking! She's been playing around with the idea for over a month now, and in just the last couple days it has now become her preferred mode of transportation. She can even do it with her boots and puffalump coat! She's 11 months old...practically a big kid.

Its History

We were treated to an outing at the Minnesota History Center this week! As you'd very well guess, appropriately there was a whole exhibit on THE WEATHER...go figure. This pic is of Emma and my friend Amy's daughter Moriah outside the entrance to the exhibit. You'll have to look at the rest of the pics of our day out - check the links on the side bar and you should see one for "My Picasa Web Album".

She's a Big Kid Now

Emma, Grandpa and Daddy went to the Mall of America today to go on rides while Eden and I were shopping with my sisters and Mom for Wedding stuff (we have two weddings coming up in the spring). Emma is now big enough to ride some of the scarier rides - the first pic is of them on the Log Ride. She was a little scared, but loved the last part when she got splashed and for the most part seemed to enjoy it. She's growing up so fast!
